Inside the app

Camera frames, voice recordings, search text, translation and image analysis are processed on your device. These contents are not uploaded to us or our service providers. The app has no accounts, advertising, behavioral analytics or tracking SDKs. Website analytics described below is separate from the app.

What stays on your device

Camera frames are not saved as photos or videos. Speech recognition uses a temporary recording, deleted on normal completion, cancellation or backgrounding. Unexpected termination can leave a temporary file managed by iOS or iPadOS. Search text remains only during the current app session.

Your language preference is stored locally. Uninstalling removes app-local preferences. The number of successful trial finds is stored in the device Keychain and may remain after uninstalling.

Purchases and Apple services

Apple handles the one-time in-app purchase and restoration. Findlet verifies Apple-signed purchase information on your device. We do not receive payment card details and do not run a billing server.

iOS or iPadOS may connect to Apple to download speech or translation resources on first use. Apple manages those resources and App Store distribution under its own policies. Camera and microphone access is requested when needed for the feature you start. You may revoke permissions in system Settings.

This website

This website uses Tencent Cloud hosting and Cloudflare for delivery and security. Web requests expose ordinary connection information such as your IP address and browser information to these providers.

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to our public pages and clicks on fixed website actions, such as opening support. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish browsers and reports information such as the pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location. We disable Google signals and advertising personalization and do not send URL query strings, Findlet search descriptions, camera images or voice recordings.

Analytics does not load until you choose “Allow analytics.” You can decline, or change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Your choice is stored in this browser. Declining does not affect access to any website content or app feature. Read Google’s privacy policy.

Contacting support

If you email support, your message and email address are handled through Cloudflare email forwarding and our Google mailbox to answer your request. We keep correspondence only as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable obligations. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal information or images of private spaces.

Questions and requests

Contact [email protected] for access, correction or deletion of support correspondence. There is no app account or stored camera library for us to delete. Updates to this policy will appear here with a revised date.
